| The situation has since returned to normal, and Cisco VPN is now fully operational without restrictions. ----------------- Due to the currently increased use of CISCO VPN, the central CISCO VPN service is temporarily reaching its technical limits. The number of assignable IP addresses from the corresponding address range is exhausted. This becomes noticeable because connection attempts are rejected with the message "no assigned address". Please use the alternatives eduVPN or an SSH tunnel as far as possible. Documentation for this can be found on the following websites: https://it.desy.de/services/networks/vpn/eduvpn https://it.desy.de/services/uco/documentation/external_access As soon as fewer connections are established via CISCO VPN, the situation will ease accordingly, as IP addresses from the CISCO VPN address range will become available again. If you have any questions, please contact the UCO (uco@desy.de, Tel: 5005). Caused by: Technical limit of available IP Adresses |
