| The maintenance has been finished. ----------------- On Dienstag, 20.8.2024 from 08:00h until 10:00h a maintenance of the central load balancing system (F5) will take place. The load balancing system spreads requests, which are sent to the connected IT services, to several devices working in parallel in order to be able to handle large quantities of requests efficiently. We are not expecting any malfunctions of the central IT services which are connected to the load balancing system. However, existing connections will be re-established briefly during maintenance. Some central IT services connected to the load balancing system are listed below. Should a problem occur during maintenance, among others the following services will be affected: - Mail Service (https://mail.desy.de) - DESY Web Sites (E.g. https://www.desy.de, https://xfel.eu) - Indico (https://indico.desy.de) - DOOR (https://door.desy.de) - Job Portal (https://job.desy.de) - Identity and Access Management System IAM (https://iam.desy.de) - DESY Car Pool (https://carpool.desy.de) - Oracle APEX Web Applications (https://ias.desy.de/...) - Puppet/Foreman - PR-Media Caused by: Necessary software updates which will fix existing security vulnerabilities. |
